Holladay reportedly refused to leave after repeated requests. Four residents attempted to force Holladay out, pepper sprayed him, and Drake retrieved a gun and shot Holladay in the face. Drake’s attorney argued self defense. a judge rejected the claim. Text messages showed threats to Holladay before the shooting. Drake also faces an unrelated aggravated battery case from July 2017.
