Commander-in Chief Bernard W. Kearney known as Pat will visit Las Vegas June 2 and 3 1937 as guest of Fred S. Pennington Post No 1758. He will arrive at 12 noon by Union Pacific for a two day stay and speak at The Meadows at 7 p m on the 1937 V F W program.

James Cashman was the successful bidder furnishing fire equipment and a truck to the town of Caliente. The three ton GMC chassis with Seagrave 500 gallon bronze centrifugal pump and other gear was chosen from fourteen bids at Pioche. Total bid stood at 4439.50.

Mitchell Tells of Great Caves at Chamber Meeting
