In War Memorial auditorium the Chief Thunderbird was injured by a grape vine hold and retired. Dr. Lon Hall then won the main event as Doe dominated the Chief. A riot followed the Masked Red Devil defeated Jack Holland in a brutal second bout before spectators surged into the ring.

Hary Morgan Dies at 50 Owner of Green Shack Resort
Harry Morgan, part owner of the Green Shack resort on the Boulder highway, died Thursday morning June 2 from heart trouble. He was 50 and had been ill only a few days. Remains are at Garrison Mortuary with funeral details pending relatives’ arrival.
