Heavy rain and mud dampened attendance at the 51st West Lampeter Fair but exhibitors still displayed fruits vegetables and flowers. FFA and 4-H youths judged hogs cattle and sheep with winners led by Jim Greider for grand champion steer and Nancy Herr as reserve. junior and senior showmanship and beer contest results noted amid difficult conditions.
