Nixon approves 100 million pound dry milk import boost
President Nixon authorizes additional imports under Section 22 of the Agricultural Adjustment Act to ensure ample nonfat dry milk supplies. The 100 million pounds follow 65 million earlier, with quotas by origin and a 2.5 million pound individual limit. An investigation and Tariff Commission hearing will follow.
