Fix-It Tip Propane Torch Basics for Repairs
The propane torch provides heat for many repairs replacing older torches. A burner unit sits on a small fuel cylinder containing liquid propane under pressure. When released as a gas it expands 400 times. Flame size is adjustable by a knob, and auto air mix occurs. Gas flows only after opening the valve.
