The Lancaster County Poultry Association will hold its annual banquet on Thursday November 4 at 6 30 p m at the Plain and Fancy Farm Bird in Hand. Alen Graybill chairs the banquet committee and Leoy Strine WGAL TV national sales manager will speak on How You Talk. The evening will feature a gift presentation to the Farm and Home Center Fund in the form of a check from the Poultry Center sale.

David and Carol Ann Mast, 12 and 13, topped the 4 H Southeast District Steer Show at the Lancaster Union Stock Yards. David, an eighth grader at Conestoga Christian Day School, showed 1030 pound Angus Jess to grand champion and earned a trophy. Carol Ann, a tenth grader at the same school, earned reserve with 1060 pound Angus Bobby.
