Ram wool breeders supply 12 month old ewes to Franklin County
Morgan and County Agent M M Smith bought 12 month old Rambouillet ewes from Keystone state shepherds. The flock, from Texas, includes long finer wool and hardiness, with 75 ewes shipped to several farmers in Lancaster County for fall breeding to medium wool rams. Wethers and tail-end ewes headed for slaughter. Pennsylvania consignment arrived Saturday.
