Dairy Groups Move Toward Unified Board Structure

The UDIA Executive Committee on April 18 backed a plan to merge four national dairy bodies into a single board and management under the one board concept. The plan, guided by Booz Allen Hamilton, will be reviewed by the four organizations at May 14–15 meetings in Arlington Heights Illinois, with sessions starting 8 00am Monday.

Dr. Jones To Speak At Swine Field Day At Penn State

Purdue University animal science professor Dr. Hobart W. Jones, a national swine research authority, will speak June 22 at Penn State Swine Field Day. The program begins 10 a.m. at the Swine Research Center with an afternoon session in the Meats Laboratory featuring breeding management, exhibits on boar ID fences ventilation and manure handling, and updates from department leaders.
