Solanco FFA and Young Farmers Aid Earth Week Efforts
Solanco FFA and Solanco Young Farmers joined Earth Week activities. About 50 freshmen and juniors planted 8000 trees at Chester Water Authority property in Colerain Township. Sophomores and seniors cleared Route 222 debris and cleaned a trash pile near Mechanics Grove with trenching and trash-pushing equipment donated by Grumell's Farm Service. Robert Hershberger led the project as Solanco Young Farmer president.
