Commission Recommends Agriculture Market Changes For Cattle
Dr Paul Farris head of the meats and poultry study for the National Commission on Food Marketing told hundreds of cattle producers at Texas A M University that marketing changes require using tools from industrial market analysis. He warned that farm business links with marketing systems will grow and that large firms standardize quality and control volumes. He noted technology advances like computers and transport push change and stressed producers need defined sales outlets before production to limit market risk. A fossil is defined as some evidence of plant or animal life preserved in rock.
