Sordoni builds Quarryville Pennsylvan ia Telephone Co. building
The Sordoni Construction Co. pours ready mix concrete for the Pennsylvania Community Telephone Co. Building in Quarryville. Luther Davis leads the crew as the east wall rises and basement dirt is moved to Kirkwood and Penn Hill. Dial switchovers are slated for Atglen and Gap, linking Quarryville with nearby exchanges. Frost and frozen ground hinder other PA projects, delaying some spring work.
