Poultry Advisory Committee Seeks Healthier Birds Research
At its Washington meeting January 12 to 14 the Poultry Research and Marketing Advisory Committee pressed high priority research on ornithosis in birds and its transmission to workers. It urged studies on poultry meat and egg composition and sanitary processing, with by products and immunization efforts also identified as key needs.

The Ancient Order of Croaking Frogs of Quarryville announced plans to build a 32 by 44 foot, one and a half story headquarters for official association proceedings. A. J. Plastino says the building should be ready by April 1 with Charles Resh Howard McCardle and Paul Ritter assisting.

US Plans to Release More Aluminum for Special Grades
The US plans to release additional aluminum to industry in response to a Minneapolis Grain Exchange committee’s recommendation. Interested parties may submit data or arguments to the Gram Division director at the Agricultural Marketing Service in Washington DC by March 10, 1956.
