Harrisburg Pennsylvania Flower Growers Association will again work with the Farm Show Commission to place potted plants and other floral displays at the 1956 Pennsylvania Farm Show January 9 to 13. Front lobby displays and other areas will enhance the show’s color and appeal, said Dr. William L. Henning State Secretary of Agriculture and Farm Show Chairman. The association’s executive committee and board meet at the Farm Show Building on Monday morning January 9, opening day.

Lampeter Strasburg teacher to receive Keystone Farmer degree
George W. Myers vocational agriculture instructor at Lampeter Strasburg High School will receive the honorary Keystone Farmer degree at the State Farm Show in Harrisburg next week. He has taught six years at Lampeter Strasburg and lives at 1 Willow Street. Twenty eight of his former students have earned the American Farmer Degree and one student J Mowrey Frey Jr was Pennsylvania Star Farmer in 1952.

Work Horse Has Place In Farm Show Agenda
