USDA Extends Comment Period on Beef Carcass Inspection
The USDA extends the public comment deadline to January 8 1971 for a proposal to tighten meat inspection rules on beef carcasses showing tapeworm infection. Original deadline was December 7 with a 30 day extension granted after requests. Copies of comments go to the Heating Clerk at USDA Washington DC and proposals may be obtained from the Consumer Protection Programs Services Staff.
