Prices of coins have been weak for three years but are picking up again says Ralph Kirk of Chester County who notes mushroom sales rise during holidays. He says edible mushroom supply is tighter and prices higher, with activity at markets increasing. he expects peak sales between now and year end.
FTC administrative law judge Ernest G. Barnes ruled against the National Commission on Egg Nutrition for its egg heart disease ads. The decision found the ads false and deceptive and restricted NCEN’s dissemination of egg information after the American Heart Association and consumer groups objected to the December 1973 PSAs in the Times and Journal.
Lancaster County Farm and Home Center celebrates seven and a half years since dedication, citing 6 900 meetings and 440 000 attendees. The Farm and Home Foundation will inscribe names of donors who gave at least 100 dollars over the past decade on a permanent lobby plaque, categorized by gift level from Fair Share to Leadership Gifts.
