York DHIA Year Concluded in York County Dairy Rivalry
Dieter Erieg reports the York DHIA season finale as Sinking Springs Farm York R5 wins the butterfat title by three pounds over rival Burkhalter herd. The 67 Holsteins at Sinking Springs produced 78 pounds butterfat to 782 pounds. Stewart’s Delta area herd averaged 19 898 milk and 782 fat. The banquet closed York County DHIA’s 54th year with herd average at 4 762 pounds.
