Agricultural Progress Days At Rock Springs Penn State
Home gardeners and commercial vegetable growers will find exhibits and demonstrations at Agricultural Progress Days August 31 through September 2 at the Rock Springs Agricultural Research Center. The event features horticulture day on September 1 with wagon tours of research areas and demonstrations of new cultural and harvesting systems including mulches, high density plantings, and machine harvesting of cabbage. A federal state market news office will open August 30 in Rochester New York for updates on New York apples cabbage onions and potatoes with daily reports.
