Entertaining Fresh Air Children a Lifelong Calling
Mrs. Loran W. Brinton of Nottingham Road in Little Britain hosts Fresh Air children from New York and Lancaster each summer. For eight years Beverly Jackson of Queens and others visit, with activities ranging from nature crafts to camping on the Brinton dairy farm. The program, run with welfare oversight, funds camp, travel by chartered bus, and features a year round effort by Brinton and her family to educate and entertain these underprivileged youths.
