USDA clarifies a recent extension allow meat processors to exhaust current stocks of specific labels by September 1. Applies to labels failing new Federal rules on net weight, antioxidants, red graphic matter, zip codes, and handling statements. Extension requires buying labels before Nov 1, 1971 and inventory data as of Apr 1, 1972.
