Receipts of fat cattle reached a daily high at Lancaster Union Stock Yards on Monday with 3,300 slaughter steers, beating the February 1951 record by 100 head. Salable cattle totaled 4,800, a yearly record, including a prime 1270 lb steer at 22.90 and a 1019 lb prime yearling at 23.50.
