FDA Sets DDT Tolerances in Milk and Dairy Products
The FDA announced tolerances for DDT residues in milk and dairy items based on an advisory committee’s recommendations. Maximum levels allow up to 0.005 parts per million in whole milk and 0.125 parts per million on a milk fat basis in produced dairy products, covering DDT and its degradates DDD and DDE.
