Lancaster field hockey wins third straight to open season
Lancaster varsity field hockey opened 2024 with three straight wins over Eden, Holland East Aurora, and Pioneer. Clare Devine led with three points in a 4 0 home win over Eden, as Gabby Smith, Ella Rad ekdi, and Lucia Lawrence paced scoring. Madison Knaub earned a shutout. Lawrence scored twice in the overtime win over Holland East Aurora on Sept 10, tying and then delivering the game winner. Seiber scored all three in the Sept 13 3 0 win over Pioneer, with Buccieri Devine and Hanson adding assists. The team faces Amherst next at 5 30 pm on Sept 25.
