Developer outlines 80,000 sq ft facility on Cemetery Road
At the Lancaster board meeting a local developer presented plans for an 80,000 square foot pre engineered light manufacturing facility on Cemetery Road. Seibel Modern would use a 9 acre parcel between Apple Rubber and Heritage Trail, with natural vegetation forming a visual buffer along the trail. The board will review the site plan at a future meeting ahead of the September 16 town hall session.

Three longtime Depew Firefighters Jan Kostran Dan Wojcik and David Strohmenger will be honored for their service at the annual department inspection on Saturday Sept 28 Kostran joined Oct 8 1999 and will be recognized for 25 years Strohmenger joined Oct 9 1978 and will receive 50 years of service Strohmenger has held roles from lieutenant to fire chief through the years with Hook & Ladder Company No 1 and the Depew Fire Department

Lancaster Village plans more handicap spaces in public lots
Trustee John Mikoley reported a survey showing two of four municipal parking lots out of compliance with handicap-accessible space requirements. The music school lot near Twin Village Music has 19 spaces with zero accessible spots, Clark Street lot has 100 spaces with one accessible, and the Girl Scout garden lot at Central Avenue and Broadway maintains two accessible spaces. The Village Building also assessed the municipal building lot.
