Hamernik Honored For Labor Of Love At Depew Center
Audrey Hamernik, village trustee and DCAT founder, was celebrated for revitalizing the Dom Polski building into the Depew Community Center on Gould Avenue. The center hosts an Audrey Hamernik Community Kitchen, low cost laundromat, gym and performance space with plans for a clothing exchange, computer center, mental health and social services, and cultural programs to aid generations of residents.
