The Lancaster Public Library schedules daily hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, with extended Tuesday to Thursday hours, weekend noon to 5 p.m. Activities include through April STEM Peep parachute kits, Take & Make crafts for ages 6 and up, Homeschool LEGO Club for ages 5-17, Balloon Show for ages 5+, and The Joy of Trains exhibit.
Lancaster Connect launched fall 2023 and available in Google Play and Apple Store. The app informs users about weather updates road closures and brush and leaf pickup schedules, making it a year round tool for Lancaster residents.
A multi day schedule lists daily clubs and classes from April 21 to 23 including Billiards Mah Jongg Yoga Ping Pong Hand and Foot Chair Yoga Exercise Ball Class Dance Fitness Pinochle Line Dance and Quilt Yarn Club along with a WNY Mobile Farm Market and Computer Class times for each day. Activities span morning to afternoon with various start times and durations across recreation centers.
Independent Health offers free health education and activities for Medi care members at the Depew Health Hub 620 Dick Road from April through June. The schedule includes Heart Health, Silver Sneakers, Hearing Loss 101, Balance & Mobility, Chair Yoga, Telemedicine, Benefits use, Bone Health, Circuit Training, and Fall Prevention on various April and May dates with times listed.
