Erie County Water Authority urges Lancaster residents to review service line materials under the Get the Lead Out program mandated by the EPA. Customers with non lead listings are asked to have lines investigated, schedule help, or self report via photo, with further categorization after inspection.

Chamber appoints Jeffrey Zeplowitz executive director
The Lancaster Depew Elma Chamber of Commerce re created the executive director role and named Jeffrey Zeplowitz to lead. Zeplowitz previously worked in Albany and Amherst Town Clerk offices and runs Barry Zeplowitz Associates in Buffalo. He aims to boost community ties include outreach to organizations and legacy memberships while seeking grant funding and state federal support. The chamber will host the 2025 Community Leadership Awards on May 15 with details online at the chamber site.
