Lancaster Legends lacrosse defend section title on new turf
Lancaster boys lacrosse, the Section VI Class A champions last season, return to defend their title on a new turf field funded by the team. Coach Chris Dickson emphasizes limiting turnovers and outscoring opponents as key to repeating success. Noah Suchyna's 56 goals broke the old record, with core players including Tyler Tedesco, Aiden Mandel, and captain Jack Speyer guiding a strong defense led by Aidan Willard and Cooper Dee. The Legends opened with a 12-2 win over Iroquois on March 25 at Lancaster High School, followed by a 17-1 victory over Kenmore, as they prepare for Frontier and Orchard Park matchups in April.
