Author Tells Ritchie Boy Story Through Family History
Laguna Beach writer Kathryn Lang Slattery traces World War II intelligence work through her uncle Herman Lang in graphical biography Immigrant Soldier The Story of a Ritchie Boy. Based on interviews and archival material, the adult novel highlights the hidden legacy of Jewish German refugees who served with Patton's Third Army and the push for remembrance.
