Esencia rises in South County with 840 new homes
The Rancho Mission Viejo project Esencia moves into Phase 2 east of Sendero near San Juan Capistrano. Plans call for 14,000 homes total on 890 acres, plus 50 acres of commercial space, a Hilltop Club, an elementary school, and 250 to 500 apartments by Western National Group. The development will include 28 percent of five planning areas on the ranch and preserve 17,000 acres as open space with drought tolerant landscaping and recycled water.
