Clara Kanter an 18 year old girl from Shousetown was kidnapped by three men, held for 24 hours in a lonely hut, then returned unconscious to her home. Posses have been organized as authorities pursue the criminals amid intense local excitement.
Union county Sunday school workers announce their annual county convention in the city next October. Phipps, the Weld Worker from the Presbyterian church, will attend the two day session along with nationally experienced speakers and delegates from all six local Sunday schools.
