Strayed Filly Recovered After Narrow Lead on Trail
A two year old worrel filly branded F 8 on the left shoulder with a full forehead stripe and a white hind foot was recovered after a day of searching by Fred Braden of Ladd Canyon. A second horse branded the same was involved. No injuries reported.

Henry Ties Delegation To Good Roads Meeting
A large Oregon delegation led by Judge Henry of Union County Court will attend the Good Roads convention on August 11. Judge Henry, by invitation of Mr. Collier, is appointing county officials and prominent men to join with county commissioners and other officers. Delegates from Baker, Umatilla, and Wallowa counties are invited to join, with farmers and fruitgrowers among the attendees. Rail fare is one and one third for the round trip.
