The O R N reports a large rip-rapping effort on the Blue Mountains this summer. One hundred thousand tons of rock have been placed at washhouse and the spur area, with two months of rock hauling from the steam shovel at Avenue spur to Moacham orgek. The rock is dumped at the washhouse between Bingham springs and Huron, and the track is now believed impregnable. Each rock piece up to five tons, aimed to resist freshets. engineers praise the permanent repairs and the company officials for their work.
