Pendleton Campaign Urges Pendleton as Eastern Oregon HQ
Pendleton Commercial Association launched a drive to name Pendleton the headquarters for the eastern Oregon federal district. A committee drafted resolutions to forward to Congress, arguing location and regional business volume support Pendleton. Delegations and messages to Senator Bourne and Representatives Ellis and Fulton followed, citing court data and county case activity to back the claim.
