Franc is G. Connelly 43 former Monroe County welfare director received probation on nine embezzlement counts. He appeared before Judge Lincoln Neprud in Sparta and was sentenced on each count with sentences stayed and concurrent probation to the State Department of Public Welfare for the duration. The total embezzled amount was 2676.51. The judge cited the debt to society paid through public suffering and humility.
