Three men escape unscathed while Frank Krajewski suffers a knee fracture after a flying auto overturns. The crash leaves Krajewski fatally injured, with bystanders aiding as emergency crews respond.
Frank Bennett, demonstrator for Imperial Automobile, lies at St Francis hospital with internal bleeding and likely fatal injuries after his car overturned twice and pinned him under the seat on Onalaska road from George street. Three deaf mutes in the car escaped with minor injuries.
Chippewa Falls Wisconsin veteran jurist Judge John J. Jenkins died Saturday evening after a long illness. His son Frank and brother in law Chief Justice R. D. Marshall were with him at the end. burial services are expected to be held Wednesday as preparations proceed.
Carrie Nation died testatrix left an estate of about ten thousand dollars filing in Washington. Most of the estate goes to the Nation Home for Drunkards and Widows in Kansas City.
Indianapolis Ind June 12 Governor Marshall will receive the honorary degree of doctor of laws from the University of Pennsylvania He will deliver the commencement address there on June 21 and plan to attend related University events.

A man drowned in the West Channel Sunday while wards into deep waters. He never came to the surface.
Peter Schuh, 22, of Milwaukee, drowned while rowing with two companions in the West Channel. Victor Gensel fainted on witnessing the accident, and Schuh’s body was recovered at 7 pm. Schuh had recently moved to La Crosse and was to be buried in Milwaukee. two other companions survived.
In New York on June 12 Justice Davis denied Reichman’s motion to dismiss the indictment. The former Carnegie Trust president, resident of Cleveland, is accused of grand larceny tied to the trust company loot. The trial starts Wednesday.
