New Owners From Prague Modernize Old La Crosse House
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Vondrašhek, natives of Prague, are completing two years of renovating the 1908 home at 1812 Fifth Avenue South. They bought from Cyril Vondrashek and his wife in New England, N. D., and have one son, Dr. Stanley Carl Vondrashek of the Minnesota Health Center. The couple toured Prague in 1947 with their son and spent time in La Crosse visiting relatives. They rebuilt the interior removing a partition to create a 28 foot living room dining area, refurnished with rose tones, pale gray walls, and blond oak.
