Kingman will be well represented in colleges this year as a list of local boys and girls shows their destinations. Wayne Cory leaves Monday for Purdue for his junior year in Civil Engineering and Maris Copeland also enters Purdue for a four year Science program. Parke Brown of Tangier studies Agriculture at Purdue. Reid Duncan and Clifton Sowers depart for Peoria Illinois with Duncan pursuing Mechanical Engineering and Sowers Pattern Work and Manual Arts. Gordon Sowers and Frank Myer head to Champaign Urbana where Sowers begins his third year in Agriculture and Myer starts as a Freshman in the same field. Miss Katie Glascock begins a second year at Jacksonville Illinois Woman's College. Miss Jennie Best travels to Terre Haute October 3 for a nine month teachers course at the State Normal, joined by George Dickens entering the Normal for a similar program.
