Shot Through the Foot by Accidental Gun Discharge
Albert Andrews a farmer living south of town sustained a gunshot wound to the foot last Friday when a 22 caliber rifle discharged while he was working at a jammed cartridge. The bullet lodged under the foot and was surgically removed after treatment in Indianapolis. He is recovering at home soon expected.

Auto Smashes Buggy in Sylvania Crash
An afternoon collision in Sylvania sent Ferris Heath and Thomas Heath, sons of Elbert Heath, tumbling from a buggy when a fast Wisconsin car struck them near a crossing. Ferris suffered serious bruising while Thomas was less injured. The car occupants offered a small payment and fled with the car number, with no further action decided yet.

Emsley Delp aged 73 died Tuesday night following a fall at his Sugar Creek area farm near the Narrows. He ruptured during surgery in Indianapolis but died from shock to the nerves after anesthesia. Man Arrested for Misappropriation of Liquor in Kingman
Varshal Shoat swore out a warrant and arrested Columbus Myers on a charge of misappropriating liquor. Myers bought a quart of gin for Ned blow and was arraigned before Justice Woody Friday morning. He paid a fine of 25 dollars plus costs totaling 35 dollars, the smallest allowed under Indiana law. Officials warn others to avoid such offenses.
