Purdue University names G. W. Rosencrans, an Agricultural student from Wisconsin, as Fountain County Agent for one year from November 1, 1915 to October 30, 2016. Smiths Sawmill Destroyed by Fire in Yed Do
Smiths sawmill in Yed Do was wiped out by a blaze near 12 30 last Monday eight. The fire broke out before discovery and all efforts to fight it failed. Origin unknown but assumed to have started from a spark from the engine. The mill valued around 3000 with half insured. Mr Smith has not decided on rebuilding.

Aged Veedersburg Woman Dies in Veedersburg
A Veedersburg resident Aunt Maria Booe died Saturday afternoon at 5 o clock after a long illness. She was married to the late James Booe and leaves a daughter Mrs Margaret May of Veedersburg a son Zeb E Booe of Dupont Fla and several grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday at the Christian church officiated by Rev Oscar Kelley with burial at Rockfield cemetery. She had lived in Veedersburg many years and was the churchs longtime active member. Relatives from Kingman attended.
