Nineteenth Jackson Township Alumni Banquet Honors Class of 1912
The Jackson Township Alumni Association held its nineteenth annual banquet in Wallace on June 15 1912 with a large crowd. Mayor speakers included Albert H McElwee and John W Shuler with music by the Veedersburg Orchestra and a festive feast hosted by the Wallace Ladies Aid Society. Officers elected for the coming year were Paul Weaver president Austin Etter vice president Effice Myers secretary and Albert B Lowe treasurer.

Lightning Strikes Bonebrake Home No One Hurt
A house near the Friends church was struck by lightning during a severe wind and rain storm last Saturday after midnight. Adam Bonebrake reports minor damage including a hole in the kitchen wall and torn weather hoarding. the chimney remained standing. This is the second lightning strike on the same home, with a previous chimney replacement noted.

Fountain county auditor William B. Gray married Zoe Victoria Jones at her parents Brookside farm near Veedersburg. The couple plans a honeymoon in Michigan and Wisconsin before settling in Covington after September first. Gray, in his second term as auditor, also serves as Brigadier General Commander of the Uniform Rank Knights of Pythias in Indiana.

Cyclone Near West Lebanon Strikes Area
A small cyclone passed near West Lebanon on Saturday afternoon causing several thousand dollars in property damage. The funnel cloud was visible to many spectators between West Lebanon and Marshfield as buildings fences and trees were blown down. A Wabash freight train was nearly caught in the path unroofing almost a dozen box cars while a passenger train escaped ahead of the cyclone with the engineer speeding to Danville five minutes early.
