Robison men escape fall as buggy crashes into creek
Court Woody and C A Slaw of Robinson Illinois representatives of Standard Oil were driving Friday when their buggy struck a rock at Mill Creek ford. The buggy overturned in the swift water and Slaw called for help as Woody pulled him from the water. Both men returned home with only dampness on Slaw and no serious injuries to Woody. Slaw, in town for oil leases, plans work when weather allows. Also at Joseph Hadley’s new house two miles southwest of town, Joseph Sanders fell from a stair landing into a cellar, breaking two ribs and a third. He was treated at home and Dr Williamson noted he may be housebound a month or six weeks.
