Automobile Blow Up Demonstrated in Williamsport Tragedy
An Oakland owned by Earl Hobart exploded last Saturday in Williamsport, killing 13 year old Chas Dennis and injuring bystanders. The engine’s blast tore the flywheel free and blew the muffler off, splashing gasoline and fire onto a storefront and clothing, causing severe burns and a storefront fire that was soon controlled.

Old Settlers Hold Annual Meeting in Rainy Day
