Forgery Suspect Arrested In Veedersburg Scam
Harry Stone aged about 60 and weighing 200 pounds was arrested last Saturday on a forgery warrant sworn by Dick Cook. He passed two $50 checks supposedly issued by a Marion man, with endorsements by a hotel proprietor and a liveryman. Bound over to court for 1000 dollars bail, he remains in custody awaiting hearing. Authorities believe he uses aliases and travels for cattle purchases and suspect he is wanted elsewhere.

Boy 7 Struck by Motorcycle Near Tangier
Little Clinton Christie seven year old son of Andrew Christie and wife living near Tangier was run over by a motorcycle on his way home from school Monday evening. His leg was broken in two places and his head badly cut needing four stitches. The motorcyclist Overpeck could not avoid the accident and showed concern for the boy's care. He is laid up for several weeks but no serious results are expected.

New rule relaxes restrictions on rural carriers allowing road supervisors or commissioners in charge of highways to ride along during route inspections.
