Rev A Carney conducts the program with a ladies quartet glee club and a brief address. Mr and Mrs Boyd Fenton departed yesterday for Montreal Canada where Mr Fenton has a new position.

Easter Social at Presbyterian Sunday School
An enjoyable Easter social was hosted Friday night west of Tangier by the Presbyterian Sunday school. Primary classes decorated tables with egg nests among ferns while children painted eggs. A short program opened the evening as cake fruit and float were served to a large crowd. The post office run by Miss Maude Wann and her class of boys provided additional fun with three cheerful windows.

Kingman observed Easter with cool weather but widespread joy as children dressed in new attire filled areas around the town. The A B Sunday School staged a polished opera house program led by Mrs. Scott E Ratcliff, featuring notable duets by Sylvia and Gertrude Bullock, followed by a served supper. The M E church presented a unique Easter cantata during service, Ira Duncan led the Epworth League and delivered a Resurrection talk, and Rev Levi Woody preached a sermon to a large audience.

Bride and Doctor wed at Hovelson home in Tangier
Miss Efie Church became the bride of Dr. H O Hovelson of Osage Iowa at 5 o'clock Sunday evening. The bride, 21, is the fourth daughter in a family of six and educated violinist. Groom, second son of Herman Hogelson, met his wife in Cayuga Indiana where he practiced medicine. They plan a quiet life in Tangier Indiana, with many friends hoping for happiness.

Work has begun on remodeling and rebuilding the schoolhouse. J. M. Myers of Waynetown holds the contract for the basement and started Monday with substantial excavation. The basement floor under the old section was lowered two feet, and foundation work will start once excavation is complete.
