W A Anglemyer of Indianapolis formerly of Kingman has patented a tubular pressed galvanized steel fence post named The Set. The oval tapered post can be driven into ground with earth filling at the base for stability, features detachable staples, and fits woven and barbed wire. Production is arranged with Burger Manufacturing Co. and orders already include the Pennsylvania Lines. The post retails 30 to 35 cents, with large earnings projected from the patent.

Aged Blacksmith Thomas Dies After Pneumonia
Milton Thomas aged 75 dies at home five miles east of here after a short pneumonia illness. Civil War veteran and longtime Jackson township blacksmith, gunsmith, and violinist, survived by his wife and three sons Albert Otis and John. Funeral services were held Wednesday with burial in the nearby cemetery.

George Drake son of Mr and Mrs Omar Drake narrowly escaped serious injury when two fast motor cycles approached from ahead on Perry street. He veered into J W Fewry s Ford behind him to avoid collision. Drake suffered scrapes bruises and facial abrasion but no broken bones. Fewry s car fenders were bent and doors damaged.
