A midnight horse theft near Chamberlain leads to pursuit and capture after the thief fled into four feet of water at Red Lake. Nat Brown, 21, of near Mitchell, is held for trial in Chamberlain after being seized by a large local posse with Sheriff Ochsner arriving from Kimball. The incident ends with warnings to the prisoner and a cautious transfer to Chamberlain for legal proceedings.
