Hugh J Campbell replies to Gov Ordways letter asking him to join a telegraphic request to the president to have the commission sent to Yankton Oak to investigate his official conduct and to inquire into charges against Ordway Campbell declines the proposition saying no indictment by the grand jury was his procurement that the matter is not personal between them he brought it to the grand jury and expects the court to quash the indictment he is fearless of investigation and will submit matters to Judge Boteler Haight of the commission.
