The town of Kimball sits near Brule County’s center in Southern Dakota, surrounded by premier farming and stock country. The area has shown its fertility in the superb crops produced in recent years, proving the region’s agricultural strength.
Rimball sits on the Chicago Milwaukee and St Paul Main Line, 48 miles west of Mitchell and 22 miles east of Chamberlain, with a fine public school, churches, post office, two banks, several hotels, a large grain elevator plus space for more, three lumber yards, blacksmith shops, livery stables, and stores across all trades, inviting investment.
The Brule County Agricultural Fair Grounds adjoins the townsite and is regarded as one of the best fair grounds in the Territory with a good half-mile track.
