Tragic double murder suicide in Brunswick groceries
Minnie Rainey shot by her husband Hatkey Rainey after a jealous quarrel at the Bayntroot Grocery, Brunswick. He killed his wife and himself as onlookers and the two year old child witnessed the tragedy, mother wounded and hospital bound. The couple had run the store at 108 Bayntroot. The man’s mother heard the screams and alerted aid. The child cried for both parents while the bodies were removed to the undertaker.

Tragic Shooting Death In Lancaster County
A fourteen year old boy died from a thigh gunshot wound sustained Friday evening. The shooter, Charité Punderhurk, a Black person, allegedly fired the weapon at Pryor, not realizing it was loaded.
